Patching damaged tarp-like material under coach over tires

It looks like one of my rear tires threw up a piece of debris which smacked a quarter sized chunk out of the underside of the plywood floor above it.

Under the coach it looks like the plywood is protected by some kind of tarp-like material. It's a plasticy woven fabric that is up against the plywood. The debris penetrated this and took about a quarter sized chunk out of the bottom layer of plywood.

What would be the best way to patch up this damage? It seems like with rain water being sprayed up against the now-bare and damaged plywood spot it's starting to soften and rot around it so I want to get it properly covered.
Anyone know what the fabric material actually is?

Hi,
When I was under mine, I found using RTV Silicone plugged my holes and seemed to adhere well to the material. And Yes I agree it seems to be a thin tarp like material.

Most likely a PVC material. RTV Silicone works great, clean the surface first with glass cleaner for good adhesion. Used some on a couple of suspect possible future leak places just in case, as long as you use it where it is NOT in direct sunlight RTV works great.

I would try Blackjack roofing cement. You can get it in tubes at big box stores.

Make sure the wood underneath is COMPLETELY dry. If the tarp material is sagging, staple it solidly into the plywood. Then use a disposable plastic spreader and apply several layers... allow each layer to dry. Be sure to cover any staples to prevent them from rusting.

It's kinda messy, but very effective at stopping water incursion. It's pretty much a permanent fix too.

That expanding spray foam is also used by Thor for sealing the floor holes where pipes/wiring/propane hoses enter the coach.

That "Flex Mend" was exactly what I was looking for and apparently this material and the need to repair it is common on mobile homes. I found a smaller/cheaper ($14 for 20 feet) roll from Recpro's Amazon store so I ordered that:

Cleaned up the area around the chip and put a couple strips on. It blends in perfectly with the OEM material so you'd never know it was patched other than a small deformation under it..
