Third Bake Light problem

2019 Chateau 23U third brake light is not working.

It comes on when the parking lights are turned on.

My thought is somewhere the wire for the third brake light is connected to the parking light line. Any idea where this is?

Thanks for your help,
Macaroon

Hey there Macaroon , my wife and I also have a Chateau 23U 2019 Thor model . I have not checked our brake lights , but you have given me a good idea to check out all lights before heading out for anything even just to get gas or propane . By the way check your RV underneath . I have found a small area below our kitchen area that was exposed wood that I had to apply some Flex Seal. I also found my propane supply hose that I had to unkink before it got to the manifold . Also did some sheet metal work to secure a bent out of shape area where the rear tail light wires are. Used wood and rubber mallet and tin snips to shape and sheet metal screws to secure. Also will be using spray foam and Flex Seal around the exposed wheel well opening above passenger side dully tires . I bought the RV at La Mesa RV in Phoenix AZ . I did not do a real good job on the walk through . Have a good day.

There is a switch/button usually near the headlight controller that allows you to bypass interior lights when doors are opened. Look around and check chassis Owner's Manual...bet you'll find it. Every vehicle we have, including the camper, has this feature.
