THOR #11037
2009 Damon Daybreak 3575

We bought our Daybreak 3575 in November, drove it home, threw our stuff in it, and drove it straight to winter storage. We will be bringing it home next week, taking it back to the dealership for some upgrades, then back home to work on "what goes where".

One thing we do not like is the manual awning since it is over one of the slides. Can anyone advise if you have the same model, or one with a similar situation, as to whether or not it's smart to leave the awning out once it's deployed? Does the slide protect it at all from wind gusts? The flip side is whether or not it's smart to just add an electric awning now and be done with it. We hope to keep this rig for at least 5 years if not longer.

Any other suggestions as to good upgrades will be appreciated. Thanks!
