If you have cell phones just put them on speakerphone and you can talk hands free. I have a phone mount on the dash so I don’t have to hold my phone while maneuvering, wife stands where needed and conversation is easy. You can also use phone earbuds to talk hands free if you don’t want to use a dash mount.
I had a pair of walkie talkies but they never seemed to be charged when I needed them, gave them to the grandkids to play with.
