I had a pair of walkie talkies but they never seemed to be charged when I needed them, gave them to the grandkids to play with.
I got a pair, used them for awhile and the next year discovered that the rechargeable batteries 'would not' and I could not buy new batteries either. Got another pair for about $20 and this pair uses just AAA batteries. Since we don't tow the car, she just uses it to talk back and forth (pet wants out, let's eat, need gas, turn coming up, follow me into the campground ...etc. ). I change the Batteries at the end of the day to prevent them from going dead next day. Maybe next year we'll get a street legal 3 wheeled scooter (maybe 4K cost) to put on my trailer to go to the tourist sites near the campgrounds.
