I completed this mod a few weeks ago. The only fitting that had a leak is the one that is tightened by the manufacturer. A socket will fit over the end. I had to break it loose because they applied a small amount of locktite but didn't actually tighten down enough. With all the complaints about leaks... I recommend doing it before installing it on the tank.
