Wow, I agree that is just crazy. Might be time for some modifications? Upgrade to LED? If you take the old light out you may be able to find a replacement by looking at the mount and the bulb dimensions. I looked at the Hamsar site and the light looks kind of generic to me. Check

I also saw a Hamsar light on eBay, they said it was for a Winnebago but it may be the same as your. Looked it anyway by the picture.
