I think we'd all be better if they would run 3/4" feed pipe then 1/2" to the fixtures. We always seem to have low flow if two valves are open. I think the larger volume would help.
I replumbed our house and used 1" feeder lines then dropped to 1/2" plenty of flow thru out the house
Just my 2 cents
