The bad thing about these stabilizers - for the DIYers - is that if you have your front end jacked up and want to turn your wheels to one side for better access to what you are trying to do - they won't stay there unless you strap down the steering wheel.

Yes, but on a FWD when your floor it the steering wheel straightens out twice (3x) as quickly as a RWD. Thats what I was refering to. Sorry for the confusion
It will basically double the speed your RV would normally straighten out the wheel. I just left the steering wheel slip though my hand where before you had to move the wheel to straighten it out.
