Don't worry, the generator has no bearing on the power of the engine. The chassis AC, however, does affect the engine. Your engine is pretty powerful and the chassis AC doesn't affect it much (except in the hills), but, decrease the load and the engine is happier. Feel free to run that generator with your house AC. That's what it's built to do. But, like I said, keep up your preventive maintenance on it. It's one of your very best friends on the road. Happy travels!
