I tow an 18" open steel/wood deck trailer with Camaro drag car. Is 5200 to 5500 lbs. Keeping the tongue weight at 500 lbs has been a challenge. Everything else I have towed with handles better with more tongue wt. The 24.1 e450 Vegas is the exception. Unit actually handles better with trailer attached. All I have done is set tire pressure and add reflex damper. Minor push from semis, more minor with trailer. Max GCVW we have run down road is 19k, 3000lbs under rating. Performance is good, merging and passing is no issue. MPG stays 9 to 11 regardless of trailer or not.
