Another favorite tool.
I just plopped it on my mod table and whacked these new supports for the battery access/under desk door on axis/Vegas dash. Then put it back on the shelf.
I made a ryobi battery adapter for this, but it didn't work the first time and I didn't try it again.

Countersunk all the holes. Drilled them part way with a bigger bit because I was too lazy to look twice for the countersink tool, then pounded the holes into shape with a sacrificial bolt of the right size. Bolts and nylon insert locking nuts are used, not screws.
Sits flat.
I stopped short of routing the wood for the thin metal.
Gotta stop somewhere....
