Back to where we started. Easy to see why you want out of that rig and into something without a slide. Some owners have had difficult problems resolved by the folks back at the factory shop. I would sure trust them rather than CW, especially with the problems you had and are having. Before you surrender and trade or sell it, why not call them and see what they say?
