I never use a forum search engine. Many are nothing more than a general Google search engine that will produce all kinds of useless results.
I do use a regular Google search engine but there is a trick to make it subject and site specific.
If you go to the link that I posted, you will see that it contains threads about removing TV's from Thor's on this forum.
Look at the top of the link and see what I did. You will see this in my Google search bar. There is my search criteria.
You will notice what I requested, who I requested it from and the results.
it looks like this: remove tv site:thorforums.com You can do this to any site search using this formula so to speak.
Remove TV is what I'm looking for then site:thorfourms.com is where I want Google to search.
Example, lets use a different subject and a different forum.
Let's look for house batteries at another RV site, iRV2. This is my search critera: House batteries site:irv2.com
https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...4dUDCAs&uact=5
You can change the subject if need be to find let's say, House batteries not charging
Let's give it a try. It looks like this in my search bar: House batteries not charging site:irv2.com
https://www.google.com/search?sxsrf=...4dUDCAs&uact=5
The ability to search like this keeps me from asking very many questions. 95% of the time I can find what I'm looking for without starting a new thread.
Have a good night everyone...
