Well its time to start the adventure. We close on the house on the 5th and hit the road for fulltime fun! I retired last friday and have been planning this for years.
I was quite surprised that the house sold so fast.
So I did the work that was needed and put the house up for sale. Well COVID-19 enters the picture. I was figuring that NOBODY was going to come look at my house. What I did figure was I'd get it out there on the market and when all this calmed down people would start looking again.
Well boy was I wrong! 2 days on the market and lots of interest. Lots of appointments and 7 offers, all over asking. I did not count on this. Just when you think you know what is going to happen...it does not. Scratchin' my head go figure.
So its off to a local campground (Florida, NY) for the first week after closing. I figure it will take a week to organize the rig and ourselves! Then its off to a COE in Missouri to see a friend and then maybe the Badlands and Custer SP?
