The lights are on because the system senses you are not level. We parked on a firm surface and used a carpenters level on the floor and manually leveled the rig. Then we did a reset per the owner's manual. I think we had to hold three buttons down for three seconds, something like that. Then the system reset what it sees as level.
However ultimately we gave up on autolevel. It usually put us too far off the ground.
Instead I manually level it using bubbles that I stuck onto the front and side of drivers dash area. That works better and is very easy.
