To clarify, I believe they simply didn't wire AC to anything but the plug behind the refrigerator, and since the outside TV is right there, it's on the circuit too. All of that (batteries/inverter/fridge/tv) are within a few feet of each other, so thinking it was just to make it very easy to wire up.
Pardon my ignorance with inverters, but when on generator/shore power, would AC outlets that utilize power from the inverter switch over, or still be on inverter power? If they don't switch supply, then it would kinda make sense.
