Key really is where did you fill the tank and how has the tank been maintained?

Water varies a lot from different parts of the country and people are accustomed to the taste or lack of

The majority of tap water is fine and good quality unless you are in a draught area or a known situation like Flint MI was in

We as a society have developed a taste for bottle water which has minimal taste so they vendors had added minerals or flavorings to keep us hooked and buying it by the case

My primary reason for the RO is to protect the Aqua Hot from scaling as we travel in the Midwest where the water hardness if very high

Actually like a bit of water hardness to brew the perfect coffee

People that haven't had the pleasure of experiencing bad water quality really don't get the concern at all
