It depends on how much water flow, GPM, your filter system allows to flow. I use a 6 GMP lamp system. It is 120VAC. The cost is not cheep at $420.00, but not to have to worry about your water is priceless. The UV lamp in a house needs to be replaced every year, but unless you use it full time, you can change it out every two or three years.
