Thanks David. By tripped I meant it was shut off and giving an error code indicating reversed polarity, shorted clips or <3 bolts on the battery, none of which I knew to be true, hence the call to the company. Only explanation was the possibility of the parasitic draw. Very helpful guy, he is sending a new unit to eliminate the possible bad unit. We’ll see
