Just FYI & future reference!
The air conditioner is on the roof & will only blow air from the ceiling vents, will only blow cold air, unless you had it upgraded to the heat pump option. If the thermostat "fan" switch is set to "auto" the fan will only run when compressor is running, if set to "low" or "hi" it will blow constantly from the ceiling vents.
The furnace will only blow air from the floor vents & will continue to blow for a few minutes after the burner has shut off to cool down.
As for the "ticking" sound I'd guess that's the metal plenum of the furnace cooling down.
