Would you not question if they really filled your tank? That is basically what happened to me. Only difference was I reacting to the knowledge my tank was supposed to have capacity of 18 gallons. Only adding 4 gallons seemed suspicious, I originally assumed they did not fill the tank
Now, I know why that is strange abnormality of the math. In future; I will know that I don't need to do anything until under 1/4 tank because 1/4 of tank for me means 4.5 gallons, which is a 7 month supply based on my current rate of propane consumption.
