Engine Fault

I have a 2015 Thor Tuscany XLE with an engine fault. The code is SPN 171 FMI 2 SA 0 This I was told is a fault with the engine ambient temperature sensor. It does not seem to have affected the engine performance but would like to fix this. The problem is finding it. Cummins mechanics say the manuals state it should be in the front grille but they could not find it. I have researched this on the net and some say it is sometimes installed in one of the front mirrors but I can see the wiring going in and all camera, heater and remote wiring is accounted for. Anyone have an idea?
