I have had similar experience. 2014 Rubu had strong rubber smell after we drove 250 miles, quick unhook and drive around. I took it to the dealer, nothing. And has happened a few times since. On many other trip, I notice a strong rubber smell around the rear tires of my motorhome. Maybe that it it?
