Bent Black Tank Valve Handle
Black tank valve was hard to operate and the valve handle (aluminum shaft) bent while trying to force it closed. Does anyone have experience in changing the shaft? Seems straight forward enough and replacement parts are readily available on Amazon. However, I am have trouble getting the bent shaft off. I think it screws onto a cable that is inside a sheath from the valve compartment to the valve. Trying to turn the shaft causes the cable to rotate inside the sheath.
Also, do the valves need to be lubricated at intervals?
