If you get to Sarasota, check out the PT Barnum museum there. Really enjoyed that a few years ago.
The Dali museum in St Pete is also amazing. DH always thought he didn't like surrealism until we went there. Totally changed his mind.
Go see the manatees near Crystal River. Our friends snowbird sown there and took us. Another fun day
