Check those 3" AC air intake flex hoses

Gorilla Tape to the rescue. You may want to take a look at the air intake hoses that connect to the air dam shelf on the Axis and Vegas. i.e. the first two hoses you see when dropping the hood.
I was moving one around and found that one of them has about 3-4 wire coils showing on the bottom where it rest on the other eng. parts about a foot or so from the dam connection. I put a Gorilla tap bandaid on it, which should hold for awhile. I would guess your AC will suck some hot eng. air if not patched.
I will eventually replace the hoses, but not right now.
