what are they using for BIRD these days
What is Thor using for their BIRD system these days?.....
the system that isolates or connects the battery systems....charge the house with the chassis engine....
mine uses an Intellitec Part Number 00-00629-120, and a separate continuous duty relay. I replaced the relay a few years back when I discovered the engine wasn't charging the house...the relay contacts were corroded.
Seems to be not working again. I coated the new one so no corrosion this time, but I haven't done any troubleshooting yet.
Really just wondering what they are doing these days so I can keep ideas in the back of my mind about modernizing my system if need be....
