Seem molding suggestions

Alright so this may affect everyone but I know I am not the only west coaster that has had this happen. As I am writing this outside in the shade where it is 97 degrees which is the coldest day by about 20 degrees in the last week and half.

This last weekend coming home across Washington state through the desert yes it’s a desert it only rains along the coast it was 116- 120 most of the way we lost the molding off the front cap both sides.

This is the second time we have lost this. The last time was just north of St George Utah once again 100 plus heat. Since that really isn’t something you can avoid unless you are running along the coast during the summer out here any suggestions on what to do besides just replacing with something that will melt again?

I have thought of just sealing up each screw but was looking for better suggestions. I don’t want to replace with molding again that will only last another year at best.

Thank for the help
