You would be better off replacing that wipe seal than trying to repair it. I had one that was like that and they replaced it under warranty.
The problem with Thor is they don't make it easy to replace like some other manufacturers. They use rivets to attach it instead of screws. When the time comes to replace one, I will drill use screws to reattach it.
