When mine needed the repair. the right rear stayed extended so I just unbolted it and flipped it up before bolting it back into place so I could drive it.

I wish it was a Equalize, much more user friendly system
I was hoping it had been forced out of alignment,
the bracket is still firmly attached and straight. Ouch on the $2800, hate to think how many people have been ripped off by that dealer
