We haven't been out a lot since we bought our Hurricane last May, but I do have to say the best stays we've had so far have been in
Arizona State Parks. The RV sites are spacious, with nice views, trees, picnic tables, fire rings, etc.
While we haven't had any long stays (4 nights the longest), we have been so impressed with the parks so far. The ones we've stayed at had water and electric...enough for us at the time...and CLEAN bathroom/shower facilities.
We have no dish or satellite, but we bring a bunch of old TV westerns on DVD and watch those. Cell service can be spotty, but enough to retrieve emails (on iPad) and to make and receive phone calls.
The 3 we've visited so far are:
Patagonia Lake State Park
Lake Havasu State Park
Roper Lake State Park
We look forward to visiting many more, and perhaps some in other states as well!
