Hi Brian, yes, our unit came with one slide bar. We were told at the dealership (by the person who demonstrated the unit) not to use it because at some time I would forget about it and tear things up. Well, the manager said I should use it and we do. The only problem is that it is up against the outer trim on the inside of the slide and so now that trim board is warping.
