Yes, the Axis/Vegas is quite aerodynamic. It has roughly the same front end area as a Class C because the nose tapers from the entry door forward about a foot. But it is much, much more aerodynamic as everything is smooth with no abrupt transitions like most Class Cs and has that sweeping windshield.
I was really pleasantly surprised about the gas mileage. I was hoping for 10+ mpg and got 11+ and even 12+ mpg.
FWIW the dash says 12.1 mpg so far with a few hundred miles since the last fill up. Maybe 15 miles on the Mass Pike, but everything else has been on secondary roads. That is probably a bit high as I would expect 11.5 when I next fill it up.
