It is always a good idea to run your a/c on max setting. This recycles the air inside the rv instead of drawing air in from the outside. Try putting the selector on max and turn the fan speed to medium and stick a thermometer in one of the air vents and see how cold it is before doing anything else. Run system for about 15 to 20 minutes and take note of starting and ending temps with controls set as previously mentioned. I think if your system is operating properly and you did not have your a/c set on max you will be pleasantly surprised by the temp difference. Good luck
