Question Electric awning failure kinda

Finally dug into why you need the radio fuse plugged in to operate the awning. This is one of those even a blind hog finds an acorn thing.

What the problem was is one of three relays between the converter distribution panel and the rear curb side wheel well had a wire not properly crimped. Found this while running the wires for the two cig lighters I put under the USB ports in the bed room. That's the blind hog part. Turns out this the wire provides a ground to the relay to operate the awning. Wires on the relay are orange, orange w black trace, yellow and white. After repairing the relay connection the awning works with the radio fuse pulled.
Next question is what did the radio fuse have to do with awning?
A pinched wire somewhere?
