Removing 2016 ACE tail/brake/turn/backup light covers
I would like to replace the exterior lights (tail, brake, turn, reverse, and marker) with LEDs, both to increase visibility and to avoid discovering a bulb is out on that one occasion when I have to drive 150 in the dark and/or wet.
We have a 2016 Thor ACE 30.1, but I imagine that the light assemblies are probably common across multiple years and models.
But I've been unable to removed the covers to even see what bulbs are there now. And of course Rhor doesn't tell us.
It looked simple enough, just unscrew the screws. That did seem to free the ends but something seemed to be holding the cover at the middle. It didn't tieless to moderate prying. I'm prepared to pry with gusto, but only if I know that's what's called for. Is there something else I need to do? Anybody know?
By the way, should I break it, anybody know wher I can get a replacement? My questions to Thor about (other) replacement parts have gone unanswered.
