The fixed regulators we have are set to 45 psi or so...no it isn't enough for the shower (the on board water pump provides more!). I suspect the problem may be volume and not pressure (e.g. the regulators don't let water in fast enough to build up the pressure inside the system). In fact, this one is called a "hi-flow" regulator: hmmm
Stainless Steel Water Regulator

This is our 4th camper (two trailers and a 5th wheel before this one) so far we haven't had a water system problem yet..even when occasionally not using a regulator.
