I took our 41' DP just about everywhere, malls, stadium, parks, etc., just had to know the limits, plan ahead, and occasionally honk the horn.

I've driven with my brother in law when he's been in his ~40' Tiffen without the truck being towed and he's gone wherever we needed. Granted, it's the rare exception he doesn't tow, but on that occasion we went to Florida without a Toad, he just thought through what he was going to do before he did it.
