Sink vent smell

I have a 2018 Thor Windsport 29M, occasionally we get a smell from the vent under the sink from the grey tank. Has anyone ever put a black tank tablet into their grey tank to make it smell nice?

Yes, after emptying gray and black tanks, I always re-charge both tanks with a tank chemical. I use an enzyme-based liquid for both tanks; however, I have noticed that there is a gray tank chemical, but don't know that a different one is really necessary.

I add a chemical to the grey also, it helps with the sometimes smell.

I also always treat the grey tank with a grey tank chemical. I've always used TST grey water treatment lemon scent and have never had any scent problems.

Sounds like your vent valve under the sink may be leaking. Check out Jamie's post #2 at:
Getting a poopy smell after a couple days travel?

Good luck

your air admittance valve is probably either loose, leaking, or both.
I discovered one of mine leaked and they both were loose.
Seems to be a common issue.
Cheap and easy fix/replacement.

Also, yes. I keep a bottle of the blue thetford stuff. Don't pour it in always, but keep it handy for those times..... it works fast to take care of it
well,I do put it in the black most of the time even though it's not always necessary. The trick is generally to use plenty of water and then treatment isn't a must-do.

Anyway, check your air admittance valves

Yup! Check the "AAV", and treat both tanks with your favorite chemicals.
