Roof Failure

Anybody having trouble with a collapsing roof?
My 2011 Crossroads Seville's roof beams failed.
The roof is falling down. How do I move this unit?
6-7 structural roof beams failed.

That sounds like it may have been a major rood leak, A/C or weather and cross braces got soaked and gave way.

Roof, structural failure

Yes, I contacted Crossroads and Thor on this and other issues. This would not be the 1st time being back at the factory. That is if it could make it back to the factory. Crossroads has not answered me for weeks. I even called the President of Crossroads with no reply. This is not how paying customers should be treated.

If it were me I would go post about this issue on the Crossroads forum and rv.net. If they won't help you try and cost them future sales. The more people that know about this kind of stuff the better. Crossroads has turned there backs on a lot of good customers lately. You should still be under warranty (2+5) depeneding on when you bought your unit and they should be helping you out with this. If not this will be a very costly repair out of your pocket.

roof, structural failure

Yes, this RV is a "Gorilla Cage" as they call it. It is an all alunimum frame that should have been welded. This is not my first issue with Crossroads and this RV. It went back to the factory after the dealership could not get the slides to seal correctly preventing me from keeping heat in. The rear stabelizers failed, the radio still does not work, the hatches still leak, the RV side has a defective finish. Now the roof is collapsing. Crossroads offered to replace the side of the RV but then renegged on the offer after I asked them to buy back the RV. Inside wood panels are peeling. The fan was replaced. Some defective windows were replaced. Should I keep going. I could.

Dave, it sounds like you got an RV that people wouldn't wish on their worst enemy!
That being said, are you still in warranty? If you are you need to get in touch with CR and get them involved in your problem, ASAP!!
If your warranty has expired, I feel you still have to contact CR. It sounds like your rig needs to go back to the factory. Just remember when you get in touch with them----you will catch more bees with honey and sugar then you will with vinegar and anger.
Good luck, and keep us posted please.

I was told by the dealership to take pictures using a straight edge to show how much is roof sagged. I took pictures inside and out to show the couple of inchs drop in the roof. I will send them Monday. Hopefully they see the problem.
