2019 Models Already?

I'm seeing some dealers advertising 2019 Thor Class A's. However, nothing on the website. Any details in differences? I'm wondering if all models are going to the multiplex system.

Thor Motorcoach year changeover varies by factory and in the case of plant 850 by series also. Generally new specifications are sent to the dealers about the first of March with model changeover after the Easter vacation. Thor only builds coaches ordered by the dealers. Dealers must pay for the coaches before they leave the plant. It has been that way since Thor acquired Airstream. If you are interested in what is new on a particular coach check with the dealer. As for as I have heard Hurricane and Windsport and all the above priced lines will have the Firefly multiplex system.

MHSRV now lists 2019 Axis as well as other 2019 motorhomes.. One difference on Axis 24.1 floorplan is that MSRP has gone up from around $114k to $118k. Their description shows some minor design changes, but no major revisions yet like a new floorplan that I can see.

Isn't it funny how the Calendar Year, and the Model Year: have become such distant relatives?

It's about that time. When I ordered my 2017 Challenger 37LX, it around this time. I ordered it in March 2016 and got it delivered mid June 2016. Try telling your insurance company you have a 2017 model when it's only June of 2016. They had nothing to go by except 2016 year rates.

We have friends who have a contract on a 2019 Hurricane. It's in production now.

2019 Chateau 24F

We ordered a 2019 in Feb. It is to delivered in May, I assume the production will start in Mid-April for these. I think it seems a little odd, they come out so early.
