Yeah yeah ok a windmill (Home Depot) has similar size issues that solar does (to get somewhere around 4k - 5k it is too big to haul around with an RV).

Yes, Devil is in the details.
I didn't see the 4k or 5k version, but the 2,000 watt unit is listed at 350 kWh per month in 12 MPH wind. That works out to around 500 watts average, not enough to run small window A/Cs full time. With standard RV roof A/C, we'd only get a few hours per day of cooling on an ongoing basis.
