Bed over seats in Axis 25.2 ?????

We are on our first major trip in our new to us Axis. We have been working on finding and fixing rattles. We have so far been successful except the bed in the cab. The best I can get it to be quite is to lower it about 5" but still rattles and squeaks from time to time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

All the stuff I have read on the overhead bed is that You must have the pins installed while driving or you risk the bed coming down on your head - a worse problem than some noise.

You need to have the pins installed when you are driving down the road. Also you should always lower the bed all the way down and all the way up. I have all kinds of different noises. Just the way a Thor MH roles.

Thanks. I just cycled all the way up and down all seems fine. I will leave it up with the pins in.
Thanks a lot
Kevin

I have not had any rattles come from my bed. I raise it all the way and hold for 5 seconds like everyone comments for the lippert systems. It always seems to hold tight to the ceiling.

Then I put the pins in.

If it still rattles I can see lowering it until it rests on the pins. The should take care of any rattles.

I lowered it all the way and held the button for a few seconds and then raised it all the way and held the button for a few seconds and the rattle quit. Thanks.

No rattles from our bed either, though don't really lower it very often. In fact, we haven't lowered ours since we put our XM antenna under the "matress"...

No rattles from the overhead bed, but lots of other noises that come and go. Every so often a big crash when a piece of trim falls off.

Someone once said that a RV is like a house undergoing an earthquake every time you take it down the road. Got to expect some creeks and groans.
