propane refill

I need to fig out how to refill our 33sw propane tank, it has been our home since mid june while building our house, and im not going to move it till the snow flies. Will have to turn the furnace on soon its cold nights now in northern mi. im hoping it can be refilled with a 20 lb tank directlly, without having to add fittings and adapters. Any ideas would be apprecited, and thanks in advance.

No it CAN NOT be filled with a 20lb bottle! Call your local propane dealer to bring a truck to you, it may cost more, but if you're not willing/able to move you don't have much choice without buying fittings. You could also ask about renting a larger bottle to plumb into your system, but it WILL require extra fittings also.

Relatively cheap and easy to add fittings allowing the rig to run off an external propane bottle... Still does NOT REFILL the rig, but you can avoid moving it...
Search for "Extend-a-stay" or similar...

Had propane filled once by a mobile truck in campground... After seeing the bill, bought the fittings (and they were already on site... Lol)

Also allows running a high pressure device from RV tank in future.

I have a 500 gallon tank at the house which is used for hot water, stove and fireplaces. When the propane service comes to fill up that tank I have them top off the coach as well.

You might check with a local propane service and see if they can fill your coach while they are in the neighborhood servicing other customers.

My husband had some kind of adapter on ours so we can connect an extra tank and disconnect to refill. Just take the tank in when empty and run off Rv tank temporarily. I could get him to explain more if you would like.
