Weboost Drive 4G-X RV install on Thor vegas 25.2 2016
I am trying to figure out where to mount my Antenna for my Weboost Drive 4G-X RV. The 25.2 does not come with a ladder since it is a rear slide. It would have been so easy if I had a ladder on my motorhome. Does anyone have any mounting ideas other than the ladder?

Snake the wire through the refer vent and then mount the antenna to the crank up/down TV antenna (if yours has one--I believe they were still putting those on in 2016).

You can mount to a pvc pipe then somehow attach that to the roof or the AC cover?
Perhaps used drill a hole in a 2x4, glue PVC pipe in place (or use screws), then dicor (or used VHB 3 M tape) to attach to roof? THat way your not drilling any holes to mount?

I like the idea if mounting it to a short piece of tubing that has been attached to a thing metal plate..
... and then attach that plate to the roof, with a nice helping of D-i-Cor to keep things waterproof.

I bought a 12 inch piece of mending plate from Home Depot and attached it in the awning track replacing 2 awning screws with longer ones. it is sitting perfect on the back of Motorhome. Now to figure out the best routing method.

Mine comes from the ladder then enters the coach thru the cabinet where the blue ray is situated, mounted against the inside cabinet wall. The indoor antenna is on a very long "leash" so I can move it around wherever I find the best reception without getting that loop feedback or whatever it's called. It's made a huge difference in my cellular reception & ability to stream using my cell for a hotspot[emoji338] [emoji341] [emoji342]

I looked at the refridgerator vent and am not able to see how to place the cable through there. There is dicor covering all the screws for the vent. When I removed the outside side panel, there are no open holes to the inside of the motorhome. Am I looking in the wrong place? i notice that thor likes to waste a lot of space my drilling holes all over the flow inside the cabinet then spraying this black foam everywhere. What is that black foam called?

Since I have no ladder, I was able to find an interesting option using the Awning bracket.

I purchased a boat antenna mount. It's a bracket with a small post you can also rotate it up and down. I attached a small piece of threaded PVC to it and then attached the antenna. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It’s all permanently mounted up there. I used the antenna mount because our roof is 13’ 3”. With the antenna in the down position it’s no taller than the rear roof vent. Once in camp or if I know I’m not driving under any trees I can extend it up.

Yep, thats good. Mine might stick up two inchs higher than my AC unit. So like 11.5. But no problems with trees and it gets good receiption overall. But I really have not been to anything like a BLM yet.

I may look into something similar since Charlotte has so many trees that over hang the road and parking lots everywhere.

I am trying to take power from what is near by. I tried tapping into the antenna booster power. There appears to be 12.4 volts in those wires, but when I hook up the weboost power supply to those wires, there is no output. I am temped to test the power supply directly against the batter just to make sure that it is functioning.
