Blackstone Griddle
I just bought and finished seasoning my blackstone 22 griddle. The plan is to use it in the mh to replace my Weber charcoal grill.
Who uses a blackstone and do you also use a bbq of some kind or just the BS.
i will experiment later this week by cooking a couple steaks on it. Hopefully they are good so i can take the weber out of the mh.

Put a thin coat of oil, I used canola, on the griddle, bottom and sides, turn it on med-high and let the oil burn off. When it stops smoking its bunrt off. Turn off and let it cool down. Then repeat two or three more times. Took about an hour to do.

Jerry,
We use the blackstone griddle to cook eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, home fries, philly steak, peppers and onions, etc. We use a road trip grill for burgers, hot dogs, and steaks. We like them flame broiled. The griddle gives more of a pan fried flavor. What burger do you like best between McDonalds or Burger King? We also carry a small charcoal grill to light briquettes for the cast iron Dutch oven.

We have a Blackstone 36" that is the only bbq we have carried in the MH for the last 10 years. I cook nearly everything on it. Steaks and burgers take a little longer because it doesn't have a cover, but the gas grill top works great. Love the griddle for breakfasts. I also use it as a stove top for pot and pan meals. We rarely ever cook inside.

Love Carl's Jr. & Hardee's. They know how to build a burger. Flame broiled Never had In and Out. I will try one next time I get out west.

Home shopping network has the two burner right now for $129 free shipping. Its exclusive to them but from what ive heard that ends next month. If true it will be available everywhere just dont know the price. Possibly cheaper
I like this model best because of the weight and ease of storage. The 28" would be great to have of to much trpuble for me to store in tge mg

FYI. WAL MART has the 17 inch one for $80. That has only one burner.

One of the advantages of the smaller ones is putting it on my big gas grill at home. I can have half griddle surface and half grill surface. Very versatile.

Hopefully this year I'll be building an outside kitchen area with a table big enough to hold my big green egg the Blackstone Griddle, my Blackstone pizza oven and a couple Weber grills
The 22 griddle is mainly for the motorhome so I needed something bigger than 17

For my backyard I love to get the 36 but with all my other cooking things back there I don't think my wife would appreciate it

I wish I had known about the 22 inch when I bought ours. I need to burn off the seasoning and reseason mine, I put a little too much oil on it and it didn't work as expected. When seasoning, wipe the oil on and leave a very light coat, too much oil and the food will stick to the griddle.

How about cleaning the griddle? Don’t imagine you should use anything too harsh.

Basical you just scrape off any burnt on food. If theres a lot you can pour water on the griddle, this loosens up stuck on matieral them wipe off. Let it cool and put a light coat on it to protect it.
Do a youtube search. Lots of videos on seasoning and cleaning
