We're here in Kamloops, BC (sadly without the rv). The hotel has a sign on the front desk that they have inside locked storage for bikes and other easily movable items. They have had $100,000+ in bikes stolen in Kamloops already this year.
I'd entertain a way to put the bikes inside for transport or storage. On our Seville, any kind of cover over the bicycle blocks the tail lights.

$100,000 worth of bicycles stolen?
Since I never had one that was worth more than about 10 bucks: that's a heckuva lot of bikes!

Not so much as you’d think. I’m no pro but my bike cost $3500 and I sometimes ride with a guy who paid more than $10,000 for his. So this could be as few as a half dozen bikes if they belonged to professionals!

Absolutely. I’m no pro either, but have several custom-designed steel, titanium and carbon fiber bikes that were expensive to buy. It’s been a while since I’ve purchased a new bike because I can’t find enough time to ride, but have traveled with a custom tandem and two custom single bikes in my van that combined cost me about $20,000 in today’s dollars. I personally don’t feel comfortable leaving expensive bikes outside in plain sight.
For what it’s worth, I was just at RV consignment lot and noticed a Class A with a bike-size garage. I’ll post a few pictures to show how easy they are to include in an otherwise normal motorhome.

The bike garage goes across motorhome. Unfortunately, doors at end of compartment were not made as high as they could have been. Still, the storage area directly over frame is almost 35 inches high, and on either side of that almost 45 inches. I could fit my bikes as is, but a chassis frame rail drop to provide 45 inches would make it that much better.

And in case Thor follows forum, inside of motorhome was hardly affected. Bedroom still has a walk-around queen bed with plenty of headroom.

I know you're not kidding... but HOLY COW!
I eas never built for bicycles: too fat, and too many tore-up knees while in College.
That's why I grew a "Twist-Throttle Wrist"!
