Question Camp Ground Memberships

Which ones do you have? Pros and cons and your experience.
Would you recommended it?
Was it worth the fees?
How are the conditions of the camp grounds?
Are they near things or OFF the beaten path?
Is there pricing better then a 30 day rate?

Thanks as I have looked at several different ones.

A little about me:
I'm going full time as soon as my stick and bricks house sells. My plan is to stay in a place for about 30 days. Explorer a 60 miles radius circle. Hook up at the end and move the rig 120 miles or so and repeat.

Thanks for the input and experience.

This is a great question we just went on a 12 day trip from IL to Phoenix. A lot of road time because we spent 4 days at our sons house in Phoenix. Planning was poor we stayed at some very nice parks and a few ok and 1 Walmart. We checked in late and did not utilize facilities. With that said the Good Sam book helped a lot if we stayed at the higher rated parks. We ended up at 2 KOAs one great one bad both overpriced. Next trip better planning and less driving.

KOA's are mostly overpriced.

We used almost exclusively private campgrounds, but avail of KOA's for late night enroute stops as they are easy to enter from most interstates!

We have an or original TT membership. We upgraded a couple times. We have Thousand Trails, Naco , Leisure Time and Encore parks to choose from across the USA. Don't buy from TT as there are many good used memberships for sale out there.

Buyer be ware! Really understand what you are doing.
