Macerator Toilet

We were just at the DRV factory getting a tour with Dwayne and seeing them actually build our new unit, an Elite 34 RESA3. He mentioned that our unit would be equipped with a macerator toilet. Just curious, does anyone have experience with this product?

Yes! I installed many of them, Tecma EasyFit, which is the same line, different model, in all the custom yachts I built in a 10yr period. Never had a failure reported or blockage. The macerator toilet is on my to have list

We have one in our coach and wouldn't have anything else. No worry about "buildup" and it is easy to flush out the tank but it does use a little more water than a conventional toilet. Small price to pay for the benefits....

Just remember to hold both buttons down before a move to flush the bowl and not refill it or you could have some water in the floor when you get to your destination.

I agree with GeorgiaHybrid and would add that water level is dependent on water pressure so you may have to adjust the water level when you change campgrounds.
